Taste of Alpharetta Thursday; May 10, 2012 The premier taste event of the South!!! Taste
of Alpharetta has become an annual tradition for festival-goers, families and food connoisseurs for 20 years. Make reservations
on your calendar to dine in Downtown Alpharetta at over 70 restaurants in one fun night. Sample delicious appetizers, entrees
and desserts from the top menus in town. Enjoy culinary demonstrations, activities and entertainment to please every palette.
Free Admission. Food tickets are $.50 each and restaurants participating in the Taste will charge $1-3 per food
sample. The event hours are 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday May 10th, come join over 65,000 family and friends.
Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival May 11 (Friday) –12 (Saturday), 2012
North Cobb Rotary presents the 4th Annual Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival, May 11 (Friday – 4–10 p.m.)
– 12 (Saturday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.), 2012. MMMM - you can just smell the BBQ cooking from local and
professional teams – there will be music, kids zone, and of course BBQ!! Admission is FREE to Cauble
Park on Lake Acworth and there is fun for the whole family. Plan to join 10,000

Taste at the Lake Saturday; June 9, 2012 Come to the Islands…that is Lake Lanier Islands for a “Taste at the Lake” Festival
complete with an array of restaurants sampling food and pairing wine. Food samples will range from $1-$4, so plan to taste
them all! Located at the Lake Lanier Islands Resort Sunset Cove, the atmosphere lake side will be festive
with tasty food, live music, beer and wine. Drive up on your boat or in your car to eat, eat, and eat some
more, we expect 5,000 folks to enjoy the fun and fare. The show hours are 11:00
a.m. – 8:00 p.m., so plan to visit the Islands and taste what is good!!

Marietta
Fourth of July Celebration Wednesday– July 4, 2012
The
Marietta Fourth of July Celebration is set on the beautiful Marietta Square. The event kicks off with one
of the state’s grandest Fourth of July parades at 9:00 AM and goes until after the fire works around 10:00 PM.
The celebration consists of 80 arts and crafts booths, children's activities, all types of food, and entertainment
throughout the day. The day concludes with an evening concert, followed by one of Metro Atlanta's largest fireworks show.
Last year's event attracted over 80,000 people to the Marietta Square, making the event one of the
largest Fourth of July Celebrations in the state.

of Powder Springs Independence Day Celebration July 4, 2012
The City of Powder Springs Independence Day Celebration
will be on July 4th in downtown Powder Springs. The event will be from 4:00 p.m. – 10:00
p.m. and will feature sponsors, festival foods, entertainment all day and of course a spectacular fireworks demonstration.
The Powder Springs Independence Day Celebration will draw over 10,000 people to the square to help
celebrate our nation’s birthday.

Celebrate Freedom Atlanta Saturday – September 1, 2012
The FISH 104.7 FM, the premier contemporary Christian radio
station in Atlanta, will host CELEBRATE FREEDOM ATLANTA the largest free concert in the Georgia!! Over
50,000 people attended the 2010 concert pouring into the event starting at 10:00 AM and soaking up the
music and activities until 10:00 PM. There is plenty of food kids’ activities, ground acts and of
course live music. The event is located at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta, GA just North of Atlanta,
the same location as the North Georgia State Fair. If families are your demographic, this is the event

people from all around the Kennesaw area. There will be two entertainment stages playing

Taste of Smyrna is back! The Village
Green will host spectacular sights and sounds on Saturday September 15th in downtown Smyrna, GA. Over
30 restaurants, acoustic sounds, kids activities, entertainment all day ending with a concert. We expect

Milton Roundup Saturday – October 13, 2012 The 2012 Milton Roundup is planned for October 13 at
Birmingham United Methodist Church from Noon to 6:00 p.m. Parking and admission are FREE. Over 5,000 people are expected to attend. With over 75 vendors, sponsors, off-site parking and shuttle service, two
entertainment areas, two FREE area for children’s activities, hay rides, pony rides and helicopter rides, a charity
softball tournament and great food, this year’s Milton Roundup is sure to be fun for the whole family. |

of Smyrna's Fall Jonquil FestivalOctober 27 & 28, 2012
The Fall Jonquil Festival is located on the beautiful Village Green in downtown
Smyrna, Georgia. There will be 150 arts & crafts booths, 12 food booths, and plenty of children's activities.
The show will also feature a local entertainment stage. The show will draw crowds of around 17,000 people. Show hours are 10 AM -6 PM
on Saturday and 12 Noon - 5 PM on Sunday. Admission is FREE.

Chili Cook-off & Firefighter’s Challenge November 3, 2012 Join us for two things that definitely go together Chili and Firefighters!! We
expect over 5,000 people to watch our firefighter teams compete in various drills to see who has the best skill!
There will also be several cook teams testing their recipes and skill for the best chili, Brunswick stew and cornbread.
We will have great music, beer garden, fire house educational displays, kid’s zone and chili galore.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Georgia Firefighter’s Burn Foundation. Don’t miss
it!

Christmas
at NorthStarArts &
Craft Show December (Friday) 2 & (Saturday) 3, 2011
This will be the third annual Christmas at NorthStar Arts & Craft Show, December 2nd
and 3rd. The event will take place on Friday the 2nd from 4:00 PM - 10:00
PM and on Saturday the 3rd from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The show will feature over 100
unique handmade arts & crafts booths. There will be a huge children’s play area and interactive
crafts for the kids, all types of food, entertainment provided by local school choruses and dance groups, a live nativity,
and photos with Santa. Admission is FREE.

Christmas
in Cumming Arts and Crafts Show December (Friday) 9 &
(Saturday) 10, 2011
Make
sure you plan to attend the 16th Annual Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Show, December 9th and
10th. The event will take place on Friday the 9th from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and on Saturday
the 10th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The show attracts over 7,500 people and will
be held inside the Cumming Livestock Barn located on the City of Cumming Fairgrounds. There will be 100
booths in the show. Admission is $1.00 with children 12 & under entering free. While the Christmas in Cumming Arts & Crafts Show is taking place, there will be numerous other
Christmas activities going on around the Fairgrounds. There will be FREE photos with Santa
on Friday from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. There will be a Christmas
Light Show, Hayrides and caroling, on Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
