CONYERS CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL
MARCH 24 & 25, 2012

When the pink blossoms begin to bloom on the cherry trees in the spring, the City of Conyers will come alive as the Georgia International Horse Park hosts the 31st Annual Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, 2012.  The contemporary arts festival includes 300 artist and crafter booths, a variety of food booths, an interactive children’s area, and entertainment from diverse cultures on multiple stages.  Festival goers enjoy free admission into the festival with a $5 parking fee.  Generally, the festival attracts an estimated 45,000 guests over the weekend.

This unique event serves to bring the community together focusing on cultural understanding and friendship through art, music, dance, food and entertainment.  As is customary in Japan, we plan to come together once again in 2011 to celebrate the blooming of the cherry trees.
